I’ve been in Atlanta homes since 2013, and I still carry a flashlight to every pre-job walkthrough. Started this operation after watching a competitor charge a Buckhead widow $1,200 for what turned out to be 45 minutes of vacuum noise near the return grille. No photos, no scope in writing, no recourse. That became the job we wouldn’t do. I hold the state HVAC-mechanical license published on this page, and I still climb into crawlspaces when a crew finds something that doesn’t match the estimate. Off the clock, I restore vintage motorcycles badly and cook Cuban pork shoulder well. He holds an EPA Section 608 Universal certification and handles our Abatement Technologies and Nikro equipment on jobs where we’re rebuilding plenum connections or replacing collapsed flex runs. He’ll tell you straight if a repair isn’t worth the money, and he’s the one who trains apprentices on how to seal a joint so it holds through a Georgia summer.
Sofia R., Service Coordinator
Sofia answers the phones, schedules the crews, and makes sure every customer gets their written scope and price before a truck leaves the lot. She’s been with CleanRun since 2019, and she’s heard every variation of “the last company quoted half that over the phone, then tripled it on arrival.” Sofia sends the pre-job documentation, coordinates the photo record delivery, and handles the follow-up calls where we ask if anything didn’t match what we promised. She’s fluent in Spanish, which matters in Atlanta’s increasingly multilingual neighborhoods, and she keeps a whiteboard of crew locations updated in real time. Her detail: she grew up in a family that ran a restaurant, and she treats scheduling like seating a full house - nobody waits without knowing why.
Jalen W., Apprentice Technician
Jalen came to us through a trade program at Atlanta Technical College and is working toward his NADCA certification while rotating between Marcus and Darnell on jobs. He’s our Rotobrush and Honeywell equipment specialist in training, and he’s already better at photographing the inside of a duct run than most techs with five years in the field. Jalen grew up in East Point, lives in West End now, and asks more questions than some customers are ready for. That’s the point.
